Ten dollars a month on Introductory or thirty on Premier, and a one time fee for each client you take on, five dollars or fifteen depending on the plan. Annual billing works out to two months free on either. No setup fee, no contract, no per seat pricing for the family.

No. Your clients and their families never pay Doula Villages anything and never see a bill from us. You are the only transaction point. When you invoice a client for your own work, that money goes straight to your Stripe account and we take no cut of it.

Doula Villages is a business expense, the same as your phone plan or your bookkeeping app, so most doulas treat the subscription and the per client fees as deductible. Your receipts live in the Billing tab under Manage billing, which opens your full invoice history. We are not tax advisors, so check your own situation with your accountant.

Nothing is charged during the trial, and every client you add during those 14 days is free. After day 14 your card is charged for the plan you picked, either $10 a month on Introductory or $30 a month on Premier. You can cancel any time before then.

No. The one time fee is per client, either $5 on Introductory or $15 on Premier. Everyone your client wants in their Family is included at no extra cost: partner, adult children, other caregivers, their nurse or hospice contact. Each person gets their own login, and members of the family are always free however many join. You only pay again when someone becomes a client in their own right, with their own directives.

Yes, from Settings. You keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. No contract, no cancellation call.

Yes. Encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and multi tenant isolation enforced at the database layer rather than just hidden in the interface.

No. Your workspace is its own isolated space. Your client list, your uploads, your chats, the directives you have helped fill out, none of it is visible to any other doula on the platform. The only people inside are you, your clients, and the members they invite.

You can export your data at any time, and so can your clients. Records belong to the family, not to us or to your practice, and a directive stays reachable through its QR card. If you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period and can take everything with you first. This matters more here than in most software, so ask us anything about it.

Every doula has a separate Village and a separate client list. Premier includes referral tools. Doulas working together on shared families, clean handoff, and a designated backup doula are on the roadmap and are not built yet. For now, in a two or three doula practice, each doula works independently.

Stripe yes, for getting paid. Connect your own account and clients pay invoices by card from their private link. The money goes straight to you and we add no platform fee, though standard Stripe card fees apply. No QuickBooks or Calendly integrations. You do not need Calendly, though: Doula Villages has its own booking link, with your hours and session length, and sends the calendar invites and the day-before reminders itself. For bookkeeping, the practice report exports a CSV your accountant can take as is.

Under five minutes to be oriented, because the welcome tour and the setup checklist do it for you. Longer if you want to upload your own forms first, but you do not have to. Eleven documents are loaded the day you sign up.
